A Little about Creative Dental….

Creative Dental Laboratories was founded in 1978 by Phillip McConnell CDT. After several years and a lot of hard work he turned Creative into one of the best crown and bridge labs in the southeast.

By 1984 our lab was doing work for dental offices from Maine to Miami. Many of the dentists we did work for back then stayed with us their entire careers.

Phillip was always a step ahead of technology. Creative was among the first labs in the country to offer such products as Dicor, IPS Empress, Captek, and IPS Emax. We have seen every type of crown and bridge case, from a single zirconia crown to full mouth reconstruction on implants.

At 74 Phil loves what he does and can still be seen at the bench producing beautiful works of art, when not on the golf course.

In 1984, Phillip’s son Chris first came to work at Creative Dental. At the time Chris McConnell was just 12 years old and on summer break from school. That summer he learned the ins and outs of producing models.

Over the next several years he moved through every department in the lab, mastering everything from models to ceramic. The last 17 years finally landing in digital design and manufacturing.

Chris believes in communication and has built many great relationships with dentists over the years. Finding out exactly what each one is looking for and doing everything possible to fulfill their specific needs.
